Wow. This week sucks! So, I'm down to about $7. $20 of my $36 I had has went on gas. Another $3 or so on milk. $5 on cigarettes (I know I need to quit..and I plan on it soon!). So...yeah, I have realized how much money I spend on gas to get to work. It is CRAZY! I work about 35 miles from home. That commute is killing me...I hope gas goes down soon or I'm going to need to start thinking about a moped! ;-)
I have been cooking at home, forcefully...but it's a start right? :)
Here is my plan for the week...so far, so good:
Monday
Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch-I had some frozen chicken fingers in the fridge at work I heated up.
Dinner-Rice a Roni, smoked tuna, Mashed potatoes (smoked tuna was a little funky) E, my son, ate a hot dog and some chips (he's a picky eater)
Tuesday
Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch-Left overs
Dinner - Spaghetti! I had noodles and hamburger meat. I had two cans of tomato sauce from forever ago and I used spices to whip up a spaghetti sauce. E loves spaghetti so he ate that.
Wednesday
Breakfast - Cereal for E...I had nothing due to wellness tests at work so I had to fast.
Lunch - Left over spaghetti
Dinner - Hamburger Helper
Thursday
Breakfast - Cereal (We have a ton due to me stockpiling it)
Lunch - Left overs
Dinner - Hot dogs and Mac and Cheese
Friday
Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch - Splurge maybe...it's pay day!
Dinner - Take E out to eat! He hasn't been out to eat in forever. :)
Gonna try and find a coupon where ever we go!
So...I'm makin' it this week. Lesson learned hopefully.
I still have not sat down and hashed out a budget though...
